What's Going On?

Let's take what you have learned and create you own artwork.

You are almost there!
Activity 3

Now that you have completed activities one and two, I would like you to consider what you have learned, and utilize it to complete the final activity. You should also consider the documents that you saw on the home page. You should be creative and infuse your work with your personality. Don't be afraid to be creative!

Step 1: Consider our current political/war condition. Are there any issues that stick out to you? Something that you feel strongly about?

Step 2: If you could express these emotions how would you choose to do so? What would your story be? How would other people understand it?

Step 3: Now, create a piece of art. It can be a speech, song, painting, drawing, media ad (video) or advertisement. Consider how others will interpret your story. Make sure that you are making a firm and clear point. We will be discussing this with the class at a later point.

Step 4: Now you will complete a reflection paper. This is your chance to explain what you have created and what inspired you. What story did your art tell? Will others understand your artwork in the same way that you intended? Write a 2 page paper explaining your process, emotions and how you feel about what you have created.
